- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 package 6 ounces of instant vanilla pudding
- 1 large can of crushed pineapple drained
- 2 packages 10 ounces each of frozen strawberries
- 2 bananas
- 1 carton 16 ounces of Cool Whip
Begin by preheating the oven to 350°F.
Prepare the cake batter according to the instructions on the box.
Divide the batter equally between two round cake pans.
Bake the cakes and then set them aside to cool.
Mix the instant pudding and refrigerate it.
Cut one of the cake layers into small chunks and place them in a punch bowl.
Spread half of the pudding on top of the cake pieces, followed by half of the crushed pineapple and one package of frozen strawberries.
Slice one banana and place it on top. Then, add half of the Cool Whip, making sure to spread it evenly.
Repeat the same steps with the other layer, ending with a layer of Cool Whip.
Refrigerate the cake overnight to allow the strawberries to thaw and their juices to infuse into the cake. Serve chilled.
