Cake:
- 1 can of undrained crushed pineapple
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 and 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Icing:
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 stick of butter softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the cake and mix until well blended.
Pour the batter into a 9x13 inch baking dish that has been greased.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is browned and the cake is cooked through.
Allow the cake to cool for 15 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients for the icing together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
